Wexas is committed to website accessibility. The Wexas website has been built to meet and exceed the the guidelines set out by WCAG to a Level Two standard, established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to achieve a combination of an "A" and "AA" rating. We are XHTML 1.0 compliant and we use CSS3 to layout our website, to make it as easy as possible for screenreading technology.
What else are we doing to be accessible?
Meaningful links, titles and page URLs are created throughout the site. These are used to aid readability, especially for visually impaired people using screen readers to access the site. Cascading Style Sheets or ‘CSS’ are used throughout the site to layout all content which aid accessibility by screenreaders. All images related to the content on the site are supported by alternative text or ‘alt text’ which can be accessed by screenreaders. We use a methodical approach to using 'headers' (H1, H2, H3, H4) to break up text and make each section clear with regards to what the content underneath it pertains to.
