Beginning in Luxor in scenes made famous in iconic films such as Death on the Nile and with a base in a stylish river ship, you'll discover the great capitals and spectacular riches of these ancient lands, from the emblematic Valley of the Kings to the sprawling Karnak and Luxor temples. UK to Luxor
After enjoying your complimentary airport lounge access at your departure airport, board your flight to Luxor and join the ship in the afternoon for a welcome rest before your cruise begins on day two.

Esna
Wake up to breakfast in your spectacular stateroom with its panoramic French windows. On-board you will find steam Jacuzzi baths alongside a gorgeous spa, gourmet restaurant and array of opulent bar areas. Your adventure begins today with a visit to the Valleys of the Kings and Queens, a sprawling desert landscape dotted with tombs and burials once home to pharaohs thousands of years ago. Then, after a delicious lunch on board, you’ll sail to Esna – a perfect opportunity to explore the ship. Perhaps relax on the teak-wood sun deck or take a dip in the pool before enjoying afternoon tea and later, a cocktail reception to welcome you and your fellow guests alongside the company of the captain.

Kom Ombo
After breakfast you'll set sail to Edfu and the Horus Temple, one of the greatest and most well-preserved temples of ancient Egypt. Return to the ship as it sets sail to Kom Ombo and perhaps indulge with a sauna and optional spa treatment before a sundowner on the bar deck, or relax in the opulent lounge while the Nile ripples alongside. Then, an Egyptian Galabeya party awaits tonight as you enjoy your gourmet dinner.

Aswan
Begin your voyage to Aswan on day four as you enjoy breakfast on board. There’s the chance to visit the spectacular High Dam and the Temple of Philae, a spectacular monument perched on a rocky outcrop. After lunch on board, sail on the Nile by felucca, a traditional wooden sailing boat, and visit beautiful botanical gardens. Come evening, take advantage of the knowledge of the on-board Egyptologists who'll provide nightly talks about the ancient temples, tombs and ruins in the surrounds. Day five will see you enjoy a day sailing at leisure, with opportunities for everything from relaxing in the library with a good book to sprawling on the sun deck and taking a dip in the pool, before another included dinner and traditional Nubian performance tonight.

Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna
Today you'll visit the spectacular 'double temple' of Kom Ombo that's unusually shared by two gods, Sobek and Haroeris, dotted with hidden gateways and chapels and surrounded by sugar-cane fields. Then, set sail to Esna as you enjoy an exquisite la carte supper and perhaps a tipple in the opulent piano bar before the on-board Egyptian Galabeya party.

Luxor
Sail to Luxor today as you enjoy breakfast on board. Highlights today include the incredible Karnak and Luxor Temples, an enormous scattering of crumbling temples, chapels and rows of Sphinxes that create what was once one of the most important centres of worship in ancient Egypt. Then, return to the ship for lunch and relax before your final afternoon tea and indulgent dinner for your final night.
