Start the cruise with a visit to the impressive Pha Pheng waterfall, known as 'the Niagara of the East', then transfer to a local fishing village for a traditional buffet lunch. After lunch, transfer to smaller boats to explore the old French railway and walk across the bridge that links Khone and Det islands.
In the evening you will be treated to welcome drinks on board the Vat Phou as well as a special Laotian dinner. Spend the night on the boat, staying in one of 12 beautiful and air-conditioned cabins, complete with en suite bathrooms.
The next day relax on deck, covered in soft sofas, armchairs and coffee tables, while passing traditional Laotian villages and the stunning 4,000 Islands. After lunch on board, visit the mysterious forest temple of Oum Muong.
On the last day of your cruise you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage ruins of Wat Phou temple at Champassak. Enjoy a tour around the temple and the museum before returning to the boat for lunch. You will then be transferred back to Pakse, where your cruise will end.
