Situated on the outskirts of Lyndoch – one of South Australia's oldest towns – Barossa Shiraz Estate offers a tranquil base of charming cottages within walking distance of some of the region's most revered cellar doors and restaurants. Guests can also explore the tree-lined streets of the nearby town of Lyndoch.

Accommodation

Perfect for a romantic getaway, or for a family or group of friends exploring the Barossa Valley, Barossa Shiraz Estate offers five luxury vineyard cottages on its stunning Lyndoch estate, and an additional cottage located on the grounds of nearby St Hugo Cellar door, catering for between two and six guests. Each offers unbeatable views of the Barossa Valley. The Barn is ideal for couples or a small group of friends. It features a living area which opens onto a vine-covered outdoor dining area, but a king-sized bedroom with spacious ensuite. Upstairs, there's another bedroom that opens onto a stunning balcony with panoramic vineyard views, plus an ensuite with spa bath.

For a family or larger group of friends, we recommend The Loft, with its spacious ground floor lounge and fully equipped kitchen. It comes with a a master bedroom suite, with ensuite and spa bath, along with another two bedrooms upstairs which share a two-way ensuite bathroom. Rooms offer stunning views over the vineyards and Barossa Valley.

Dining

Guests are warmly welcomed by the manager with a deli platter and wine on arrival and can enjoy complimentary breakfast provisions for the duration of their stay. These are stored in the pantry and fridge in your cottage upon your arrival. All cottages come with full kitchen and open-plan dining and lounge areas, providing the ideal facilities for self-catering. A private gas BBQ is also available on the patio. Barossa Shiraz Estate is located close to wineries and fine dining restaurants, offering some delicious food and drinks options which can be reserved in advance.

Facilities

The in-house spa and wellness centre allows you a chance to relax and pamper, while Barossa Shiraz Estate also offers bike rental for an additional charge as well as hiking and biking routes nearby. Wifi is free throughout.
