Location

Captains at the Bay sits in a central location in Apollo Bay, an integral part of any drive along the Great Ocean Road. From here you can explore the 12 Apostles, the Cape Otway National Park and even do a short section of the Great Ocean Walk. Many people just stay for one night but it’s actually a really great base to spend longer as you can see and do a great deal from Apollo Bay.

Accommodation

There's a range of accommodation to choose from including the Captain’s Loft, a two bedroom, two bathroom split level cottage, which is detached from the main building. The Bridge Suites have a veranda from which you can enjoy views of Apollo Bay or the Otway Ranges. The Cottage, Captain’s Terrace and Captain’s Cottage have small courtyard gardens. All offer comfortable accommodation, a sitting area and complimentary Wi-Fi; parking is also complimentary.

Dining

Breakfast is included and served in the dining room and there’s an excellent choice of restaurants close by for dinner. Your hosts are happy to make recommendations and reservations if needed.

Facilities

While the hotel has no leisure facilities on site, you'll have no trouble filling your days with so many attractions nearby. Enjoy walks through the Great Otway National Park, take a dip in the ocean or perhaps learn to surf at one of the area's many beaches.
