Oak Tree Lodge, Phillip Island

Oak Tree Lodge offers just four beautiful apartments in a tranquil setting in the peaceful village of Rhyll on Phillip Island. The property has a graceful period feel to it and stands overlooking a majestic Oak Tree, hence the name.

Location

Rhyll is a delightful village on Phillip Island just a 90 minute drive from Melbourne, and Oak Tree Lodge is only 100m from the beach. There is a general store and a lovely gift shop within walking distance and the Purple Hen winery only a short drive away. The Nobbies Centre and Penguin Parade is a 20 minute drive away set on a magnificent headland with stunning views.

Accommodation

Oak Tree Lodge offers four beautiful, timber apartments with private entrances, lounge areas, kitchens and bathrooms all in a magical garden setting. The kitchen is filled with everything you need for a fabulous breakfast including free range eggs, bacon, juice, muesli, fresh bread and preserves along with freshly ground coffee and tea. All suites have reverse cycle air conditioning, three also offer wood burning stoves.

Dining

Oak Tree Lodge is self catering however breakfast provisions are included and there are a couple of excellent eating options including a fish & chip shop within a short walk.

Facilities

Phillip Island offers a wealth of natural attractions to enjoy, including numerous hiking and walking trails, beautiful beaches and coastlines as well as an abundance of wildlife. The island is also home to a number of excellent wineries including the much-lauded Purple Hen Wines and the family owned Phillip Island Vineyard & Winery. There are a couple of superb golf courses and some excellent art galleries and museums.
