Margaret River Gourmet Escape Event

From 21st to 23rd November 2014, the Margaret River Gourmet Escape will showcase an incredible line up of local and international food and wine celebrities. The 2013 event was hosted by Heston Blumenthal, Rick Stein, Alex Atala and Neil Perry, and included an incredible series of unique culinary experiences in some truly wonderful settings. Expect a similar heavy-weight line-up of internationally acclaimed chefs and experiences for the 2014 Escape.

Highlights of the Gourmet Escape Festival include:

Gourmet Village - In the beautiful grounds of the Leeuwin Estate, Gourmet Village allows guests the chance to explore the food and wine of Margaret River through cooking demonstrations, master classes, Q&A's, panel discussions and tastings.

Walpole Wilderness & Tree Top Walk

Discover the ancient Tingle trees of the Walpole Wilderness and Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk - a wonderful way to get up close to the forest canopy and see this beautiful forest ecosystem from a unique vantage point. This half-day tour departs from Denmark Visitor Centre and includes entrance to the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk and the services of an expert guide who'll teach you all about the biodiversity of the region.
