The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
March is the month that the world's most famous train sets off again after its winter break. The classic journey between London and Italy is an absolute favourite among our clients and specialists, but there are a host of other options, too.
Perhaps add on a stay in Verona, for example, or head to Italy's northern Lakes for some indulgent relaxation. As the year progresses, other routes also open up, taking in the likes of Vienna, Prague and Berlin. Looking for a long-haul alternative? The Americas & Caribbean
While the likes of Canada are only just starting to warm up, Arizona and Las Vegas, for instance, enjoy some of their best weather. It’s a similar story in the Caribbean while for some great deals, look to Bermuda’s white-sand beaches; there’s good spring weather and pre-peak prices.
Central America, while starting to heat up, is also still pleasant to explore – Mexico's Kukulkan festival is a highlight as are the jungles and beaches of Costa Rica. South America is also still an excellent option, with further festivities to be had in Peru's Cusco and its jubilant Semana Santa Holy Week.
