This exclusive lodge offers a slice of luxury in one of the most remote coastal wildernesses in Australia – the Kimberley. 

Location

Overlooking the Timor Sea and the Berkeley River, the lodge’s remote coastal location is only accessible by air. With the closest town some 150 kilometres away to the south, the flight itself is something of a treat. You’ll fly over swathes of greenery and rocky gorges on your way to the bright red dirt airstrip and the lodge’s private white beaches.

Accommodation

Choose from an Ocean View or River View Villa, each of which comes with an expansive deck complete with comfortable armchairs. From these you can drink in the area’s remote location (or a complimentary beverage). All villas also feature freestanding bathtubs and rainforest showers for bathing under the vast Kimberley sky. Guests can make use of the creature comforts of high-speed WiFi access and coffee machines.

Dining

Floating atop the coastal dunes, the lodge’s restaurant offers a fine-dining experience with views over the Timor Sea and back across the Berkeley River mouth. For breakfast, meals are cooked to order while lunches and dinners are multi-course degustation affairs. Fresh breads are baked three times daily while ingredients are globally sourced. Think organic stone-milled polenta from Italy and grain-fed Black Angus from Armidale. Facilities

Nightly rates other than including all meals and selected beverages, give you access to fishing, stunning river cruises, 4WD bush and coastal tours and guided treks. Take to the ocean, beach or rivers for a chance to catch the elusive barramundi fish or just to take in some Australian sunshine. Back at base, guests can relax by the poolside or take the short stroll to the lodge’s beach. As the sun sets over the Kimberley, enjoy a drink in the bar or retire to your private verandah to admire the view.
