Far off the tourist trail in the furthest reaches of western Tanzania, this camp offers the very best in wildlife encounters, paired with stunning views over the Katavi National Park.
Small and intimate, the camp has just six spacious Meru-style tents, each immaculately furnished and offering awe-inspiring views of the plains and passing wildlife of one of Tanzania's remotest regions. Indeed, the surrounding flood plains draw thousands of animals in the dry season as water becomes scarce, including elephants, crocodile, hyenas, lions and vast herds of buffalo.
And, you'll take it all in on guided game drives and ranger-led bush walks, enjoying some of the best wildlife viewing in East Africa. Then, back at base, you'll be treated to superb dining and sundowner cocktails as you watch out for passing wildlife. There's even the chance to try fly-camping for the night, sleeping under the stars with just the sounds of the bush to keep you company.
