Location
The grand chateau-style Delta Bessborough has a rich history and an excellent location on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. Opened in 1935 by the Canadian National Railway, and built to resemble a Bavarian Castle
The hotel is in an excellent position for exploring the city, with the waterfront parks and paths just steps away and the Midtown Plaza with f great shopping a short stroll in the other direction. Walk through the plaza to reach the popular Farmers’ Market brimming with fresh produce and crafts. A short drive up the coast brings you to the Mendel Gallery which has a good collection of art from all areas and a pretty conservatory with exotic plants, and to the dock where you can take a brunch or dinner cruise on Saskatoon’s riverboat The Prairie Lily.
