Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp

Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, on its rim, with spectacular views of the surrounding area. 

The camp offers ten luxury safari-room tents, updated for 2019, each with its own wood-framed furniture, luxe beds, en-suite bathroom and indoor bucket shower with a personal tent attendant filling it to the perfect temperature whenever it’s required. The room tents also feature hairdryers, plug points and small sitting areas in front of each of the tents, where you can enjoy coffee and biscuits before your morning game drive. 

Dining at the Ngorongoro Crater Camp is at individual table settings placed around the camp with unique viewpoints. There are comfortable sofas and umbrellas placed in and around the camp with a brand-new lounge area and wraparound decking, alongside special spots with great views which you can sit and soak up. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in your stay, and dining is usually buffet-style meals. On your early morning game drives packed breakfasts are included to be enjoyed in the bush. 

Enjoy thrilling game drives led by highly qualified guides in closed 4 x 4 viewing vehicles. Whilst on game drives, you're likely to see a wide range of wildlife, including zebra, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest, hippo and elephants; and an amazing population of predators - lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. You can also enjoy cultural activities, such as visiting a nearby Masai village. It's all easily accessible via a domestic flight from Arusha to Manyara where, on arrival, you'll be met by a Sanctuary representative.
