Puku Ridge Camp, South Luangwa National Park

Location

The camp is located on the edge of an escarpment, in a private location in the South Luangwa. Built on a hillside, Puku Ridge Camp boasts stunning vistas of the floodplain, lying nestled in a remote, game rich area of the park. The nearest airport to the camp is Mfuwe, which can be accessed via Lusaka or Livingstone by air, followed by a two-hour road transfer to the camp.

Accommodation

Each of the seven safari tents offer exceptional comfort, featuring large picture windows, en suite bathrooms and outdoor showers, shaded by the forest and large private viewing decks, offering views of wild dogs making their way across the plains, and elephants bathing.

Dining

All meals are table d’hôte with a wide selection of dishes and are served outdoors whenever possible – often around a campfire in the evening. When evening arrives, make your way to the central dining area for a delectable gourmet meal in the bush, or order dinner on your own private deck for a romantic night under the stars.

Facilities

Activities at Puku Ridge include day and night safari drives, guided walks are also offered but drives are the norm, as they boast higher game sightings. Due to the remote game-rich area of the park, lion, leopard, elephant and zebra can frequently be seen on safari drives and walks.
