This five-day extension starts with an overnight stay at Perth’s stylish Terrace Hotel. Spend a day exploring Perth at your leisure, taking in Kings Park and the Swan River and watching the sunset at Cottesloe Beach. Fly north to Learmonth and transfer to Sal Salis, an exclusive safari-style lodge hidden among the dunes of the Cape Range National Park. Spend three days exploring Ningaloo Reef and watching out for dugongs and manta rays at nearby Coral Bay. Between April and July, Ningaloo is one of the few places on earth where it’s possible to swim with the largest fish on earth, the whale shark. This once-in-a-lifetime experience allows you to swim close to these huge creatures and other marine life, including dolphins, whales and turtles.
