Begin by exploring the city, and a night at the luxurious Terrace Hotel, fly to Paraburdoo, collect your hire car and drive to Karijini, Western Australia’s second largest national park and the ancestral home of the Banyjima, Niapilai and Innawonga Aboriginal people. The park’s dramatic landscape of subterranean rock pools, waterfalls and gorges harbours an abundance of native plants and animals that can be seen from a network of walking trails. You'll stay at the excellent Karijini Eco Retreat, the only permanent accommodation in the park.
