Sarah Usher

Sarah's passion for travel began early, leaving school at sixteen to study travel & tourism management before moving overseas to work in the Balearic Islands. Living abroad sparked a love of adventure that soon took her further afield. Now, with more than 24 years in the travel industry and 46 countries explored across five continents, Sarah boasts plenty of first‑hand experience.

She has also spent a year travelling through Australia, much of it overland, from Sydney and Melbourne to the Great Ocean Road and Adelaide. One of her most memorable journeys was a three‑week drive from Adelaide to Darwin, sleeping in swags beneath the stars and exploring iconic landscapes including Lake Eyre, the Simpson Desert, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, Kakadu and Litchfield National Park. Her travels since have taken her around the world, always with a focus on nature and outdoor adventure. Highlights include whale watching in New Zealand, feeding lion cubs at a sanctuary in South Africa, horse riding in Cuba, swimming in Thailand’s River Kwai, hugging giant redwoods in California, climbing Bali’s Mount Batur, walking the Great Wall of China, marvelling at the Taj Mahal, cycling in Vietnam and cruising the Norwegian fjords. She has also explored the USA, Central America, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Nepal, Israel, Jerusalem, Bethlehem and the Dead Sea, along with many destinations across Europe and the Middle East.
