Introduction
Nusa Dua is a pristine enclave and more established as a hotspot than Jimbaran Bay; its beauty helped put Bali on the tourist trail.
The golden sands and blue-hued waters of the bay border some of the island's best 5-star resorts, many of which feature gilded lobbies, expansive lawns and manicured gardens.
Besides the resorts themselves, the beach is the star attraction, a peaceful idyll free of traffic and Balinese bustle, though there's also a shopping complex and small art museum displaying local and international pieces.
A quick walk north and you'll reach Tanjung Benoa, a much livelier area with a host of restaurants, shops and traditional street stalls.
