Charlie Pritchard

Charlie’s lifelong love affair with Europe began in his childhood, when annual family vacations filled his summers with European adventures. From exploring the hidden corners of Rome to basking on Barcelona’s beaches and indulging in port tastings in the Douro Valley, his early travels ignited a passion that continues to fuel his journeys today. Charlie’s love for Europe has taken him on countless journeys, from the sun-drenched beaches of Sicily and the enchanting islands of the Aeolian archipelago to the historic cities of Venice, Florence and Rome. His unique and intimate knowledge of Italy is evident, but his love for all things Iberian is equally apparent. The vibrant cultures of Valencia and Seville and the winding valleys of Portugal hold a special place in his heart.

Charlie's adventures have extended beyond Western Europe. He has explored the breathtaking landscapes of Scandinavia, including remote Svalbard, where he experienced the thrill of husky sledding and snowmobile excursions. Most recently, he spent six months living and working at Brandon Lodge in Swedish Lapland, immersing himself in the region’s Arctic charm. This hands-on experience has given him an in-depth understanding of the area’s unique culture, wildlife, and seasonal adventures, making him a true expert on travel in Swedish Lapland. Adventures further afield have taken him through Asia, where he has enjoyed motorbiking through Vietnam, trekking with Thai elephants, and embarking on an epic train journey through China.
