Lisa Ayling
Biography
After a brief childhood dream of being an RAF fighter pilot, Lisa has thought of nothing but working in travel, an industry she's been involved in for the past 20 years. Since studying travel and tourism at college she's worked for tour operators, travel agents, cruise lines and airlines. She's travelled on board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, worked in a hotel on the island of Minorca and even spent six months working on a cruise ship in the sunny Caribbean. In 2007, she brought her years of experience to Wexas, where she's continued to expand her expertise in Europe, travelling to the likes of Sicily, Malta, Mallorca, the Norwegian fjords, Bavaria in Germany and the Spanish cities of Cordoba and Madrid, the latter of which she cites as her favourite city in the world.
