Adam Hickmott
Biography
It was studying their history of conquest and exploration at university that inspired Adam to follow in the footsteps of the Spanish conquistadors and travel to South America. He lived in an apartment in Buenos Aires for two months, gaining a real feel for the Argentine capital, then travelled overland to Rio de Janeiro, calling at the likes of Iguazu Falls, the vineyards of Mendoza and the jungle-backed beaches of Ilha Grande. After Rio he flew to Panama City for a further few months in Central America before returning to the UK and beginning a career with British Airways. Working as cabin crew on the new A380 aircraft, it wasn’t long before Adam was overseeing the exclusive First cabin and flying regularly to the likes of Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Tokyo. He joined Wexas in 2014, specialising in Australasia and the Far East.
