Alison Nicolle
Biography
Alison has worked in travel for over 20 years, visiting over 80 countries. She has travelled extensively in Asia and North America, but is perhaps most passionate about Africa, where she cites her main highlights as Namibia's giant salt pan, Etosha National Park and Kenya's Masai Mara. Other of her favourite destinations include Oman, India, Sri Lanka and the Indian Ocean islands. Alison is also knowledgeable of cruises, and recently enjoyed a voyage to the Arctic with Silversea Expeditions. One of her top recommendations is the journey from Hong Kong to Singapore with Silversea, where the night-time sail away is a spectacular occasion. Recent highlights include witnessing a giant Green Turtle laying eggs on the beach in Tortuguero, Costa Rica, and swimming alongside humpback whales in the Pacific Ocean.
