Beci Sandiford
Biography
After taking inspiration from family holidays to Lake Garda and Verona, Beci pursued studies in Italian and Business at university. Somewhat inevitably, her academic journey soon led her to Italy, where she spent six months living in Lombardy and a summer au pairing in Sardinia and Veneto. After graduating, keen to see what the other side of the world had to offer, a seven-month backpacking adventure saw her delve into the vivacious and exciting Latin cultures of Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Panama. When she returned, Beci was drawn to a career that aligned with her love of foreign cultures and languages, choosing the travel industry. Since then, she has experienced Northern Italy in a professional capacity, gaining expert knowledge of the region's best hotels particularly in Venice and Milan. Whilst her expertise lies in all things Italian, in recent years she has enjoyed personal holidays to the Algarve and Copenhagen, as well as a four-month backpacking trip to southeast Asia.
