Biography
Meriel has spent over two decades working onboard all sizes, types, standards and nationalities of cruise vessels as a Destination Specialist and Tour Manager, cruising the world’s exotic and far-flung ports and oceans. Her favourite destinations are those off-the-beaten track where the rare arrival of a ship is a massive event to the local people and where the guests can get close to nature and adventure. In addition to her far-reaching knowledge of the various cruise lines and ships, she has thorough first-hand experience of the destinations themselves and what are the best things to do and see in order to enhance your visit and appreciate the port of call and surrounding area to its full. Meriel's expertise is backed up by her certification as a Cruise Master, presented by the Cruise Lines International Association.
