L’Alya Ninh Van Bay

Location 

This high-end hideaway has an enviable position on the gleaming white sands of Ninh Van Bay. Exemplifying flawless service from the start, your hosts will meet you at Cam Ranh airport, 35km south of Nha Trang, and drive you to L'Alyana Ninh Van Bay’s pontoon. From there it’s a leisurely 15-minute speedboat ride to the resort, which sits on the lay side of the bay, with the ocean at its feet and forested mountains at its back.

Accommodation 

Thirty-five luxury, stand-alone villas provide all the comforts a discerning Robinson Crusoe could ask for. All are decorated in a chic Asian style and come with thatched roofs, vaulted ceilings, red-teak furniture, private plunge pools, pre-loaded iPods, DVD players and private 24-hour butlers. Several of our clients have become so attached to the place that they request the same villa – and the same butler – each time they go back. 

Dining 

The hotel serves excellent Vietnamese and Western cuisine, whipped up by the head chef Eddy Willen. The menu at the restaurant isn’t prescriptive, meaning that you can change it to suit what you want that day. One option is the evening buffet, which offers an incredible array of freshly-caught seafood that the chef usually barbecues. There’s also the option of dining in your room if you’d prefer, which allows you to enjoy a Western-style menu. Within the complex there’s also a Whisky and Cigar Bar for evening drinks. 

Facilities 

The list of facilities is truly impressive, ranging from cooking classes and a dedicated yoga viewpoint to a chef’s garden, library, boutique, gym and business centre. There’s a fantastic spa offering Asian and Western-style treatments, as well as options to try fishing, walking or swimming. The resort also has an excellent relationship with the local community and runs some fantastic off-the-beaten-track excursions and insightful local experiences.
