Biography
With over 25 years' experience in travel, there are few corners of the world Debbie doesn't know. Some are firm favourites, such as the Greek Islands and the Caribbean (particularly cruising the beautiful islands), while other top picks include Muscat in Oman and beautiful Sri Lanka. Debbie also loves a safari, particularly in Kenya, South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique, while her travels in Africa have also taken her to the spice island of Zanzibar. Contrastingly, on her adventures east, she's explored everywhere from ancient Japan to ultra-modern Hong Kong, with highlights including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and even South Korea, including its demilitarised zone. What's more, Debbie has also found time to visit almost all of the USA's 52 states, taking in the likes of Hawaii's islands, California's iconic Pacific Coast Highway and the Deep South states of Georgia and both the Carolinas. And, with her kids in tow, she's visited Florida more times than Mickey Mouse! Further travels have taken her all over Latin America, from the icons of Peru and Argentina to Mexico, Costa Rica and even on a cruise through the Panama Canal, while her most recent adventure – a trip to Tanzania – saw her trek through the country's western forests in search of chimpanzees.
