River cruise
Named after the 17th century Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, who commissioned the Taj Mahal, Heritage Line The Jahan transports its guests back in time to the era of the British Raj. It pairs elegant Indian artworks and furnishings with a host of fabulous, resort-like amenities and ultra-stylish, spacious accommodation to create the feel of a floating boutique hotel. And, with first-class hospitality catering to your every need throughout, the overall experience is one of absolute luxury as you cruise along the Mekong River in supreme style.
Stylish & spacious accommodation
Accommodation onboard Heritage Line The Jahan comes in the form of spacious and stylish staterooms and suites, with four different categories to choose from. The Superior and Deluxe Staterooms are identical in size and layout, both featuring cosy lounge corners, private balconies and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Whereas the Superior Staterooms feature crème-white walls and white food furniture, the Deluxe Staterooms are found on the ship's upper deck and are characterised by warm, orange tones, darker furnishings and hand-painted ornaments. The Signature Suites are the next level up, with hand-made indigo-blue patterns on crème-white walls and extravagant four-poster beds. Finally, for the most luxurious experience, consider staying in one of the Noble Suites, which come with plenty of additional space, two balconies, a private Jacuzzi and an extra-large bathroom.
Resort-like onboard amenities
While travelling onboard Heritage Line The Jahan, guests have access to an array of superb amenities of the kind you would expect to find in a luxury hotel. These include a spa, where expert therapists deliver a range of soothing massages and beauty treatments, an opulent Old English-style communal lobby lounge, an elegant observatory lounge and a sun deck replete with an intricately tiled swimming pool and plush lounge beds. As such, when you're not out and about exploring the captivating destinations throughout your journey, the ship serves as an idyllic sanctuary for rest, relaxation and indulgence.
Delectable dining
All meals are included as part of your journey onboard Heritage Line The Jahan. Breakfast and lunch take the form of lavish buffets, with dishes freshly prepared by the chefs at live cooking stations, including new and special creations every day. If you're after a little more privacy, breakfast can be served on your balcony. Dinner, meanwhile, is served à la carte, drawing inspiration from both Asian flavours and international cuisines to ensure an eclectic culinary offering to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. A private dinner service is also available. And, once on every voyage, the sun deck is transformed into an open-air barbecue venue for a gala evening, as the chefs will create a feast of sumptuous grilled meat and seafood. Once on every voyage, guests are also invited to attend a British High Tea, while afternoon tea is served every day, including tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits. And, of course, the bartenders are always on hand to prepare a signature cocktail or pour a glass of wine of your choosing from an extensive wine list.
