Four Seasons The Nam Hai, Hoi An

Location

This all-villa resort, located on Ha My Beach, offers guests one of the most sophisticated hotel experiences in Indochina. It is one of the few hotels in Hoi An with a lovely, natural stretch of beach, where other resorts have suffered from erosion. The resort is within a short distance of the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Hoi An, My Son and Hue, which feature many Buddhist pagodas, royal tombs and historic citadels. There are 40 Pool Villas spread over 35 hectares of tropical gardens and strung along the pristine shoreline of Ha My Beach. Each Pool Villa has high-ceilinged living spaces with contemporary Vietnamese artwork on the walls, hung among delicate hand-spun silks. Stand-out features include sunken eggshell-lacquered baths, beds on raised platforms, rain showers and private gardens.

Dining

There’s elegant dining available at the hotel’s three dining venues. The Restaurant serves contemporary fusion dishes, authentic Indian specialities and grilled gourmet food in a sleek low-lit dining room. The Beach Restaurant has a more relaxed atmosphere, and serves thin sizzling pizzas, juicy burgers, and copious salads by the extended palm-fringed swimming pool. For relaxation, visit the Spa, which features eight pavilions that appear to float atop a peaceful lake like lotus flowers. Each pavilion offers complete privacy due to its ingeniously designed French doors, and is endowed with an open-air relaxation deck with a deep-soak bathtub facing a cushioned daybed built for two.
