Speight’s Brewery Tour & Alehouse Lunch

Since 1876, Speight’s has been producing everything from richly flavoured ales to hoppy classics at the same site in Rattray Street. This award-winning guided tour takes you through its historic working brewery, bringing you from the antiquity of beer in Babylonian times all the way to contemporary brewing techniques that have made New Zealand something of a craft hotbed. You’ll even get to hear a few of the brewery’s secrets before smelling, touching and, yes, tasting the ingredients for yourself. There is of course, plenty of time give over to sampling the beers themselves. You’ll end your tour with a two-course lunch in the alehouse, washed down with a glass of your new favourite tipple.
