Introduction
The Mile High City of Denver, the capital of Colorado, is a metropolis of Old West history and modern delights. 300 days of sunshine, a walkable downtown, thriving craft beer and dining scenes and a number of well-known museums – among them the History Colorado Center and Denver Art Museum – characterise this growing city.
Although Denver is a young city with many thriving neighbourhoods and a flourishing arts scene, its historic and preservation districts keep it in touch with its frontier town past.
