Aditya Resort, Galle

Location

The Aditya Resort is an exclusive resort with a good beach, excellent services, and a quirky design located near Galle, Sri Lanka. The hotel is located in a fascinating corner of the island, and the 15th-century fort-city of Galle, the magical Madu gaga and the surf and coral of Hikkaduwa are all close by. 

Accommodation

There are twelve luxurious suites at the Aditya Resort, and each is named after one of the solar deities of Hindu mythology. Each suite is unique in its layout and décor, with authentic art and antiques from the orient. All suites are equipped with wide-screen TVs, DVD/CD players, minibars, safes, hairdryers, tea and coffee services, and a private plunge pool. There are three types of suite to choose from. Shanthi Suites have a courtyard views, Sagara Suites have ocean views and private balconies, whilst Surya Suites are spectacular penthouse suites that comprise of two levels.

Dining

The Aditya's restaurant and bar is calm and quiet, and overlooks the garden and beach. The menu is cosmopolitan, and emphasises fresh seafood, and the restaurant doesn't serve pork. Other options include private barbecue parties after sundown, or the poolside bar for delicious wines, spirits, and cocktails.

Facilities

There are a number of facilities on offer at the hotel. These include the Aditya Spa, where you can relax and rejuvenate, or, if you prefer, enjoy treatments in the privacy of your own suite. There are also yoga classes, a pillow menu, and transfers and vehicle hires on offer.
