Bear Claw is a luxury timber-clad lodge on the shores of a serene lake, where hearthstone fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling views frame outside’s pristine wilderness; the surrounding nature stealing the show effortlessly.
Stay in one of just eight charming, en-suite rooms, with handcrafted timber beds and local art providing a cosy and homely feel. You’ll enjoy meals in the wood-clad Great Room, with a focus on valley-to-table dining and ingredients almost all sourced from local fisheries, farms and the onsite garden. Weather permitting, there’s also the chance to dine on secluded riverbanks or in the shadow of snow-capped mountains.
Relax in the lofted library or enjoy a massage after days spent exploring the rippling Kispiox River, perhaps with river rafting or even snorkelling with salmon. On land there’s chances to go mushroom foraging and mountain hiking and biking, or for an extra-special experience, the lodge also offers heli-skiing packages, helicopter and float plane tours, as well as multi-day horse riding and hiking trips. Come evening, the riverstone Jacuzzi, card table and more are a perfect culmination to days of of adventure.
