Location
Formerly the 19th-century Stephen Girard Building, this boutique Hilton hotel enjoys a superb location in the heart of Philadelphia's Midtown Village. Perfect for taking in the city's historic attraction, you're also just a stone's throw from number of superb restaurants, and just two blocks from the famous Reading Terminal Market. Be sure to grab a complimentary Canopy Bike to explore the area during your stay.
Accommodation
Rooms and suites combine contemporary amenities with chic decor and elements of mid-century design. As such, you can expect the likes of rich blue and green tones, wood and brass accents and judiciously used patterned wallpaper and tiles. Each room comes equipped with a free Wi-Fi, a 55-inch TV, mini-refrigerator, Nespresso machine and filtered spring water. Guest can get a restful sleep each night on a signature Canopy bed with gel memory foam and Serta Cool Balance Technology. Suites offer a separate living room with a private bedroom, a wet bar, bathrobes and slipper socks.
Dining
Guests can begin the day with breakfast at Canopy Central Cafe, or have a Canopy Break Fast Bag delivered if there's an early start. The hotel’s on-site restaurant, The Wayward, is an American Brasserie and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with evening guests able to indulge in the impressive gin list. The menu, inspired by Stephen Girard’s journey from Bordeaux to Philadelphia, features classic American dishes, delivered with a French twist.
Facilities
While the hotel is perfectly poised for exploring the city – don't forget those complimentary bikes – there's also the chance to stay active back at base by making the most of the 24-hour on-site fitness centre. Of course, there's always the chance to wind down in the evenings, too, perhaps with a complimentary wine and beer tasting in the Canopy Central Cafe.
