Location
Dubbed the “playground of the Northwest”, Coeur D’Alene sits on the north shore of Lake Coeur D’Alene, around 30 miles east of Spokane and its airport. The lakeside resort is a five minute walk from City Park & Beach and features a marina, spa and a notable golf course. With the best watersports, golf and skiing in the Northwest, Coeur D’Alene Resort is the perfect place for outdoor adventures.
Accommodation
All rooms include custom signature beds with pillow-top mattresses, complimentary Wi-Fi, cotton robes, luxury toiletries and coffee makers but the best rooms are in the Lake Tower. Here you will find larger rooms with oversized bath and dressing room with granite sinks, bedside remote controlled window curtains, and fully stocked minibar. Some of the rooms also have balconies and a gas lit fireplace. If you want to push the boat out, the Hagadone Suite features 2,500 sq ft of luxury on the 18th floor of the tower and has cathedral ceilings, an in-room waterfall bath, a Jacuzzi on the balcony and separate glass-bottom swimming pool!
Dining
The Coeur D’Alene Resort’s impressive portfolio of restaurants has something for every taste and mood. The family-friendly Dockside is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and sports an 18-foot salad bar. Enjoy Italian fare at Tito’s Italian Grill, or Pan-Asian flavours at Bonsai Bistro. For more grand cuisine head to Beverly’s and no trip to CDA Resort is complete without a trip to Cedars floating restaurant where you can sample Northwestern delicacies such as Cedar-Planked Salmon. In addition to the restaurants there are four bars to relax in and enjoy a drink, each with a different vibe.
Facilities
The Coeur D’Alene Resort Golf Course is home to the world’s only “Floating Green” – a movable, computer-controlled engineering marvel. The course is regularly lauded by experts as one of the world’s best golfing experiences. Aside from the golf, the resort also offers a full service spa, with a range of tantalising treatments on offer, and a wide array of special events, festivals and live-entertainment. The lake provides opportunities for boating, jet skiing or waterboarding, or more scenic activities such as a sunset or dinner cruise. In winter there is an impressive skiing and snowboarding scene, along with horse-drawn sleigh rides and snowmobiling.
