Location

Combining one of Mozambique’s most stunning beach locations with the rich culture and trade history of the country, Coral Lodge is situated on a spectacular peninsula within an unspoiled nature reserve. Located in the north of Mozambique in an area called Veranda, the lodge is most easily accessed by a fly-in to the airstrip of Lumbo, followed by a short boat ride and road transfer. Alternatively, fly to Nampula via Nairobi, followed by a two-hour road transfer.

Accommodation comprises of 10 luxury villas which blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings, featuring wood furnishings and local textiles. Amenities include outdoor showers, air conditioning and a fully-stocked private bar.

Dining

Dishes served are heavily focused upon fresh local fish and local ingredients obtained – the chef uses these ingredients to create unique daily menus infused with original Mozambique flavours and strong Portuguse and Mediterranean influences.

Facilities

There’s plenty here for families, with activities ranging from snorkelling lessons and shell jewellery-making to canoe trips and island picnics. Water sports such as diving, whale watching, wind surfing, fishing and sailing are all hosted by the lodge, along with a range of cultural activities to take advantage of.
