This beachfront delight is all Moroccan tradition meets rustic beach chic and offers surfing, yoga lessons and spa treatments.
The first eco resort in Morocco, the property lies just 25 minutes from the resort of Agadir but offers far fewer crowds, with rooms that range from junior suites with private balconies to wood-clad, split-level bungalows and luxury villas overlooking the sea. Amongst its many environmentally sustainable practices, the resort has implemented a recycled water irrigation scheme and offers exclusive eco-friendly natural beauty products.
Enjoy fresh, organic dining at one of the the three onsite restaurants, from fresh seafood at le Chiringuito to gourmet burgers and fine Moroccan cuisine at le 27. Come evening, enjoy the renowned sunsets with a drink at chic The Lounge Bar - stylish furnishings flourished with Moroccan touches - or around the beachfront bonfire.
Right on the beach, edged by sandy shores and peaking mountains, the hotel's surroundings are understandably its main draw – with Taghazout home to some of Morocco's best beaches that are bathed in up to 340 days of sunshine per year. You're also just steps away from the hotel's onsite surf school and some of the country's best surf spots, whether you want to partake in a lesson or simply watch with a drink in hand. Alternatively, there's a whole range of yoga courses for any ability. Then, a treatment at the open air, wooden-decked spa is a wonderful end to any day, with therapists using the likes of orange blossom, charcoal, Argan oil and roses in a huge array of natural treatments and massages.
