With awe-inspiring views of the jungle and Iguazu Falls, this newly-refurbished hotel is a spectacular offering for those who want to explore this world wonder.
With views of either the falls or dense jungle canopy, open-plan suites reached from bamboo-sheltered walkways are all distressed wood, floor-to-ceiling windows and stylish white sofas, with marble bathrooms that feature standalone roll top baths. Particularly special is the Iguazu Suite, with a sprawling terrace overlooking the falls, and the Royal Suite with a private swimming pool.
When you’re not exploring, take advantage of the tennis courts, gym and infinity pool that looks over the famous Devil's Throat area of the falls, or indulge at the natural-wood spa offering a full range of beauty treatments and massages. Then, come evenings, the elegant Iguazu Restaurant provides fresh, modern fare in a buffet style, accompanied by the resident harpist, best enjoyed before a cocktail or two in the sophisticated lobby bar or on the open-air terrace.
Of course, it’s outside that holds most appeal, with the falls' walkways just steps away from the hotel's entrance – stroll along the upper circuit for incredible falls views and spot the huge array of flora and fauna including monkeys, iguanas and 400 species of birds. We also recommend a boat trip to get up close to the spectacular falls as well as a helicopter ride over the falls for an awe-inspiring panorama.
