Location
Situated on the beautiful Le Morne Peninsula in the south-western corner of Mauritius and set against a backdrop of the stunning Le Morne mountain range, Paradis Hotel – a Beachcomber Resort – has, without doubt, one of the most enviable locations on the island. With a prime position on a scenic stretch of coastline, Paradis Hotel enjoys palm-fringed, beachfront seclusion and direct access to the largest lagoon on the island.
Accommodation
A collection of luxurious rooms, suites and villas make up the accommodation at Paradis Hotel where fresh, bright furnishings and décor are the order of the day. Rooms offer a haven of restful seclusion with views across the ocean, tropical gardens and the majestic Le Morne mountain range. All rooms come with individually controlled air conditioning; separate shower and bath, personal safe, complimentary WiFi, mini bar and tea and coffee facilities. Rooms and suites all have a lounge and terrace area, perfect for relaxing or perhaps enjoying some private al fresco dining.
Dining
With four distinctive restaurants serving a wide range of first class cuisine under the watchful gaze of French head chef Jean Christophe Basseau, guests at Paradis Hotel will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing what to eat. Dine at Le Brabant - the resort's main restaurant with a poolside location and stunning ocean views, which serves buffet breakfast in the mornings and bountiful themed buffets in the evening, where you might find anything from French classics to the very best of Italian cuisine. Alternatively, the more intimate La Palma specialises in fine Italian food and an intimate dining experience. For seafood fanatics, Blue Marlin boasts a menu of oceanic delights and for those wanting to experience local Mauritian fare, La Ravenne offers a rustic atmosphere and classic Creole cooking and a wonderful beachside setting.
Facilities
The Paradis' trump card when it comes to its facilities is without doubt its superb 18-hole championship golf course. Set on a strip of land sandwiched between the Le Morne Mountains and peninsula it's without question one of the most beautiful courses in Mauritius. If golf isn't your thing, there's plenty of other activities to fill your day with. For guests seeking some well-earned pampering, the Clarins Spa offers the perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. Alternatively, there's a fully equipped gym and sports centre, tennis courts, volleyball and a host of water sports including windsurfing, diving, snorkelling sailing and windsurfing. For families there's a kids club that runs a comprehensive range of activities for three to 12-year-olds.
