Location
Regularly winning awards from the likes of Condé Nast Traveller and Travel + Leisure, Park Hyatt Siem Reap is stunningly located in the centre of Siem Reap, just a stone’s throw from the ruins of Angkor. Of the thousands of temples in the area, by far the most famous is Angkor Wat, built in the 12th century by the Khmer king Suryavarrman II and thought to be the largest religious building in the world. Siem Reap Angkor International Airport is just a short drive away, and our clients regularly tell us how they’re wonderfully looked after by the British General Manager.
Accommodation
This prestigious hotel offers 104 guest rooms, including 13 suites that offer ample space both inside and out and have their own private garden and/or swimming pool. Even the lesser categories (Park King and Park View King) offer Italian marble bathrooms, dual vanities, contemporary, Khmer-inspired art, king-size beds, and views of either the hotel’s leafy courtyard or downtown Siem Reap. Deluxe rooms are larger still, though to really feel like royalty, check in to one the seven tiers of suite. Among our many favourites are the Rooftop Garden Suite with Balcony, complete with private sun garden and panoramic views, and the wonderfully private 2 Bedroom Pool Suite.
Dining
Effortlessly elegant in black and white marble, Park Hyatt Siem Reap’s signature restaurant, The Dining Room, blends French Provençal with classic Asian flavours to offer up some of the region’s finest dishes. The Living Room, too, has a touch of Parisian chic, with plenty of quiet nooks for whispered conversations over expertly made cocktails. The Glasshouse Deli delivers comfort food par excellence, from freshly made pizzas to homemade ice creams.
Facilities
The striking spa is one of the best in Siem Reap, offering a wide range of therapies and treatments. For a slice of culture without leaving the hotel, enjoy an evening performance in the beautiful courtyard by the Cambodian ‘ballet’, the Asparas. Or enrol in one of Park Hyatt’s ‘Masters of Food & Wine’ events. Other hotel facilities include a gorgeous infinity pool, a dedicated lap pool and a well-equipped fitness centre.
