The Wallawwa Hotel is a beautiful old colonial manor house that's been converted into a boutique hotel, and is located in three acres of manicured gardens. It's only 15 minutes from Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport meaning the hotel is excellently placed for a relaxing stop over at the beginning or end of your trip. Located in Negombo, it's also ideally situated for day trips to Negombo beach or city excitement in Colombo.

There are 17 tastefully furnished bedrooms and suites at the hotel. Garden Suites are 55 m sq, and have a king-sized bed, widescreen satellite TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The Mountbatten Suite is an impressive 162 sq m, has two bedrooms and a large living room with a sofa. Alternatively, take a Wallawwa Bedroom for a king-sized bed, 35 m sq of space, and terrazzo lined en-suite wet room with rain shower, basin and WC.
Dining
Vegetables and fruit served in the restaurant are all grown in the organic garden. For dinner, enjoy the a la carte Asian Fusion menu that's served in the restaurant, overlooking the beautiful gardens. There is also a selection of vegetarian dishes and the chefs are willing and able to cater to any dietary requirements with prior notice. A kids’ menu and in-room dining are also available. For afternoon tea, sit back and relax on the veranda and enjoy the magnificent spread of cakes and biscuits.
Facilities
Facilities on offer at the hotel include a library, study, gardens, a swimming pool, a shop and Wi-Fi internet. For leisure, take part in one of the games that are on offer, including croquet, carrom, badminton or Monopoly.
