Location
On the east coast of Vietnam, hidden away on a secluded peninsula in the Phu Yen province, the Zannier Bai San Ho is scattered along the white sands, lush hillsides and rice paddies of one of Vietnam's most untouched stretches of coastline, with stunning views of the ocean.
Accommodation
With 73 villas spread across its 250-acre grounds, guests can pick from various villas ranging from one to four bedrooms. All come with eco-chic design, featuring natural materials, traditional elements and local accents. The leading categories are the Terrace and Paddy Field Villas, each facing the lush gardens or paddies (the Paddy Field Villas were inspired by fishermen’s houses and built on stilts from reclaimed wood), while the Hillside Pool Villas (resembling traditional mountain longhouses of the hill-dwelling Rade tribe) are perched amidst greenery, offering more privacy, blinding views and a large private pool. Those upgrading to the Beach Pool Villas (designed in the style of the Cham people) are treated to direct access to the powdery-white beach, private decks and a private plunge pool. Finally, the Grand Bay Pool Villas (inspired by ancient Ede long houses) feature stunning sea views, ample space, a pool and terrace and come with three or four bedrooms. All villas categories except for the Paddy Field Villas have a private plunge pool.
Dining
Indulge in culinary delights from around the world at the three restaurants, featuring everything from authentic Vietnamese cuisine to freshly caught seafood grilled over a BBQ. Nha O, the hotel's main restaurant is an all-day casual affair – the name literally meaning 'house full of life' – and comes with panoramic hilltop views, serving both South-East Asian and international dishes. Lang Chai is the resort's beachside spot, where meat and fish is grilled over the barbecue. For special occasions and private dining, Ba Hai's menu showcases traditional dishes handed down through generations, with fragrant local flavours and seasons market produce. the restaurant itself is housed in a 12-metre-high building built on stilts with a steep sloping roof – a style akin to a communal house in a Bahnar village. For casual drinks, the resort's bars range from traditional beach huts to the rococo-style decor of the cocktail bar and the lively pool bar.
Facilities
On the wellness front, the hotel's large spa features seven treatment rooms, a hammam, sauna and tea room, while the fully equipped technogym and indoor and outdoor yoga spaces offer a chance to revitalise and rejuvenate. Down by the beach, guests can enjoy the private bay from the water sports centre, with options to catamaran or snorkel the colourful coral reefs.
