UK to Muscat
After included VIP airport lounge access, board your flight to Muscat. Upon arrival, transfer to the Jumeirah Muscat Bay resort, spectacularly-located in its own private bay around 45 minutes from Muscat airport. You'll spend four nights here to fully enjoy the stunning beach, clear seas and relaxed atmosphere.
We've included half-day private tour of Muscat's highlights, which can be taken on any day during your stay in Muscat. You'll visit both the new and the historic sights of Muscat. Drive along the Corniche to visit the fish market and colourful Muttrah Souq, stopping at the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the magnificent Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali. In the heart of modern Muscat, you'll visit the impressive Royal Opera House and the spectacular Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque.

Nizwa and Jabal Shams
Today you will transfer to the mountains Jabal Al Akhdar, via Nizwa, the former capital of the interior and birthplace of Islam in Oman. Visit the famous Round Tower Fort, built in the 17th century and Nizwa's famous souq, where ornamental silver jewellery is sold alongside intricately, hand-carved khanjars (daggers), before enjoying a visit to Al Hamra, a 400-year-old old mudbrick village. Then, continue to the terraced farming village of Wadi Ghul to take in the views from the highest peak in the Jabal Shams range, known as Arabia's 'Grand Canyon. Continue on to the spectacular Alila Jabal Al Akhdar Resort arriving in the early evening. Lunch at a local restaurant or a picnic from the resort is included.

Alila Jabal Al Akhdar Resort
The remote Alila Jabal Al Akhdar Resort is situated in arguably the most dramatic location in Oman's Al Hajar Mountains and is the epitome of rustic luxury. The resort was voted the number one resort in the Middle East in the 2025 Condé Nast readers awards. You'll have three nights here, allowing two whole days to relax and soak up the unique atmosphere or indulge in a range of treatments from the award-winning spa. Or if you are feeling more adventurous, take to one of the spectacular hiking trails, try abseiling or mountain biking.
