Northern Lights in Tromso, Norway
If time is of the essence, this short break trip to Norway is packed with activities. From exploring Tromso, which is full of culture and history, to visiting the surrounding mountains, fjords and islands. there's also the chance to head off on a husky safari as well as experience the Northern Lights. Guests can also add on additional activities such as snow-mobiling, reindeer sledding and are able to book a Sami cultural tour as well.
The trip includes return flights to Tromso, three nights' accommodation at Thon Hotel Tromso.
A winter break in Swedish Lapland
Experience the beauty and serenity of the wilderness on this four day escape to northern Sweden. The landscape is instantly relaxing and the activities on offer are a little bit different too. The trip includes a four-hour snowmobile excursion across the frozen sea and islands of the Luleå Archipelago with a visit to the 17th century fishing village of Brändöskär. Here travellers can try ice fishing, snow-mobiling and a husky safari, all while they learn more about the local culture.
The trip includes flights to Luleå, via Stockholm, transfers and three nights accommodation in a cabin at Brandon Lodge with all meals provided. A four-hour snowmobile safari, all thermal clothing, a wilderness lunch and a two hour husky safari are also included.
Christmas at Malangen Resort, Norway
We may be barely into summer but for those able to plan ahead and wanting to break with tradition this year, we're offering a magical Christmas in northern Norway. Travelling off-the-beaten track, one hour from Tromso, guests will spend four nights at Malangen Resort. This spectacular property is surrounded by the stunning fjords and mountains of the Arctic. Activities include a snowmobile safari, a visit from Father Christmas, a husky safari and a Sami workshop where guests will learn about the customs and culture of the local indigenous people. In the evenings travellers will head to Camp Nikka; one of the best places in the region to see the Northern Lights.
The trip includes return flights to Tromso, transfers, four nights' half board accommodation at Malangen Resort and a wide selection of activities along with one night in Tromso on a B&B basis.
Kirkenes Snowhotel Break, Norway
Spend a magical night in the Snow Room at the Kirkenes Snow Hotel. Following a three-course traditional dinner served by an open-fireplace, guests will meet the resident reindeer and try and catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights before curling up in thermal sleeping bags surrounded by cool ice art sculptures. The following two nights are spent in a Gamme cabin. A new addition to the hotel, the cabins have been built with tall windows made of one-way glass that offer spectacular views of the night sky.
The trip includes return flights to Kirkenes, via Oslo, transfers, accommodation, breakfast and dinner, and a snowmobile safari to see the Northern Lights.
