You'll then finish your Australian adventure on the beaches of tropical Northern Queensland at the sleepy seaside town of Port Douglas, gateway to the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.

Sydney

It's hard not to fall in love with confident, cosmopolitan Sydney; it's Australia's oldest and largest city, and its most familiar. You'll have three days here to explore the sights of the famous harbour, home to the iconic Harbour Bridge, botanic gardens and the shimmering sails of the Opera House. But don't stop there. Scratch beneath the surface and you'll discover a city brimming with superb restaurants, quirky beachside suburbs, bustling markets, fashionable nightspots and stylish boutiques. Relax on golden sand beaches or head beyond the city limits to the rugged landscapes of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains and the world-class vineyards of the Hunter Valley.

Or, head into the wilderness to learn about the fascinating myths surrounding this sacred region. A sunset touring experience is included, where you can gaze in wonder at the changing colours as night falls over iconic Uluru. The optional Sounds of Silence dinner features a gourmet barbecue accompanied by tales of Aboriginal folklore under the stars. Alternatively, opt for a Tali Wuru dinner, an intimate, fine dining experience hosted on an isolated dune overlooking Uluru itself.

You'll have a choice between our three accommodation options below, or take the chance to splash out on a stay at the stunning Longitude 131º.
