Rachel Mostyn
Biography
Rachel has worked in the travel industry for more than 20 years. Although she's travelled extensively worldwide, it's to Latin America that she returns most frequently. She lived in northern Peru for two years and is always keen to pass on her knowledge of this fascinating region. Her recommendations include the snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, the laidback beach resort of Máncora and the pre-Columbian ruins of Kuelap. Beyond Peru, her travels have taken her to Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Guyana, Panama and more. She loves to get off the beaten track, listing searching for jaguars in the jungles of Guyana, taking a cargo boat down the Amazon in Brazil, and hiking through the mountains of Colombia to Ciudad Perdida (founded 650 years before Machu Picchu) among her favourite experiences.
