Wildman Wilderness Lodge sits between Darwin and Kakadu National Park in the Mary River Wetlands region and offers a range of accommodation and touring options. Spending a few days here will expose you to the wildlife and incredible sights of the region whilst enjoying the creature comforts available at Wildman. The lodge comprises a main lodge building which houses the restaurant, spacious lounge bar (perfect for a late afternoon drink) and swimming pool.
Location
Located midway between Darwin and Kakadu the drive from Darwin takes less than two hours whilst Kakadu is around 2½ hours away. Transfers from Darwin hotels and the airport are also available daily and depart on request. An additional charge applies.
Accommodation
Wildman Wilderness Lodge has 10 cabins or ‘habitats’ and 15 safari tents. The habitats are well appointed free standing cabins, with private bathrooms, comfy beds and air conditioning. The safari tents are perfect for those who like the idea of ‘glamping’ - each tent is fan-cooled and has an en suite bathroom.
Dining
Wildman Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers the best seasonal produce from Australia and the Northern Territory. If you have been successful on one of the fishing tours the chef will even prepare your catch for you.
Facilities
Alongside the restaurant, lounge bar and swimming pool there are a variety of touring options on offer including a wetlands air boat safari, billabong cruise, Mary River rock hole cruise and Kakadu National Park tour.
