Enjoy a full day to explore Vienna at your own pace. Walk in the footsteps of some of history’s most famous composers and visit Vienna's man museums, palaces, and other historic landmarks. Visit the UNESCO-recognised Baroque wonder that is Schönbrunn Palace.

After a leisurely morning you will be transferred to the stylish Riverside Mozart, where you will embark on your luxury all-inclusive cruise of the Danube. Explore your floating home for the next 5 days before enjoying a delightful first meal onboard at one of the four onboard restaurants. Alternatively, as your ship remains docked in Vienna overnight you could explore more of Vienna in the late afternoon or by night.

Bratislava holds much appeal because of its pedestrianised city centre, which makes it easy to explore on foot. Plus, the food, wine, and beer scene is much-loved by locals and visitors alike. Take a leisurely walking tour, get your fill of the beer scene on a beer tasting, or view modern art at the Danubiana Museum. An optional cycling adventure is avaialble, to take you to the ruins of Devin Castle, one of the oldest in Slovakia with written mentions dating back to 864AD.

Esztergom and Visegrad
Esztergom is famous for its basilica, the largest church in Hungary and home to the country’s seat of the Catholic Church. You can explore the basilica in-depth today as you marvel at its impressive scale, sacred art collection, and wondrous treasures. To connect with your active side, take a scenic cycling tour around the city’s surrounds for gorgeous views, or hike the Visegrad Citadel, one of the most photographed sites of the so-called Danube Knee. If you want to see the fortress ruins without the hike, this is an option as well. In the evening you will cruise to Budapest, where your ship will stay docked for 2 nights.

Budapest
On top of its general charms, Budapest has much to offer and you will be offered a number of options to see the best of this charming capital city during the full day you'll spend here. A panoramic drive of the city will show you many of its highlights: the Castle Garden Bazaar, the Fisherman’s Bastion, or Mathias Church. Take a guided visit of the Hungarian Parliament Building, spend the afternoon wandering the romantic cobblestone streets of the Castle District, or explore Sisi’s Palace, the summer residence of Emperor Franz and his wife Elizabeth. Active options include a panoramic cycling tour and an exciting hike down into the caves of Budapest to discover what lies below this historic city.
