Amman to Petra
As you make your way to Petra, stop in Madaba, known as the ‘City of Mosaics’ for its 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land, crafted from two million coloured stones. Your journey brings you to Mount Nebo, the site from which Moses is said to have glimpsed the Promised Land. Ascend to its summit for views across the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea and the River Jordan.
Explore Siq al-Barid, known as ‘Little Petra.’ This is a captivating archaeological site which, while smaller, is regarded as just as intriguing as its namesake. Once in Petra, enjoy an interactive Insider Experience: a cooking class! Join local chefs to try your hand at traditional Jordanian dishes. Afterwards, sit down to enjoy your meal in a convivial setting.
