Where to go in Gyeongsang Province

Andong

The traditional houses of the Hahoe Folk Village nestle alongside a gently flowing river (Hahoe means ‘spinning river') amid pretty countryside close to the town of Andong in Gyeongsang province.

Busan

Busan is Korea's principal port and second largest city. It is the gateway to the picturesque islands of the Hallyeo Maritime National Park.

Gyeongju

The capital of the Silla kingdom for almost 1,000 years, Gyeongju is home to more tombs, temples, rock carvings, pagodas, Buddhist statues and ruined palaces, castles and pleasure gardens than anywhere else in South Korea. No wonder it's referred to as ‘the museum without walls'.
