Location
Corralejo’s undulating dunes set the scene for this luxury resort, tucked away on Fuerteventura’s popular northeast coast. Surrounded by landscaped gardens, the resort is set right on the beach, where pristine sands and gently lapping waves frame views to its Canary Island neighbours, Los Lobos and Lanzarote.
Accommodation
Comfortable, elegant and luxurious, the hotel’s 242 rooms and suites pair pool, garden or ocean views with the very best in modern, Canary Island design; think patterned fabrics, mosaic tiling and hand-woven rugs. The larger suites – Atlantic and above – are particularly impressive, with spacious living areas, private terraces, Nespresso machines and indulgent Jacuzzi baths. All rooms come with satellite TV, free Internet, a pillow menu and a welcome and departure gift as standard.
Dining
Culinary adventures abound with four restaurants, two beach clubs and two bars to explore. Each one offers something different, with everything from traditional Spanish and modern Japanese to themed international buffets packed with family-friendly favourites. Of particular note, La Cúpula de Carles Gaig, offers refined gourmet dining under the watchful gaze of its eponymous, Michelin-starred head chef.
Facilities
As you’d expect from a resort of this size, there’s no shortage of facilities to help while away the days. The exclusive Coco Beach, for example, offers luxurious Balinese day beds and deliciously crafted cocktails, all accompanied by oceanfront outlooks and an ambience of utmost serenity. It’s a theme that continues to the 3,000 sq. ft. spa, where highly qualified therapists massage, scrub and exfoliate away the stresses of daily life. Elsewhere, there’s everything from swimming pools and kids’ clubs to thrilling water sports and even doorstep aqua parks.
