Location
On a quiet residential street one block (100 metres) from Sorrento’s beaches and minutes away from bustling Piazzo Tasso and the Marina Grande, this stylish contemporary space features traditional flourishes such as hand-painted tiles and replica Roman busts. The first-floor lounge leads onto extensive gardens planted with aromatic citrus trees and other typical Mediterranean plants. The rooftop pool area has an outdoor bar with magnificent views over the gulf.
Accommodation
The 85 rooms are bright and spacious, with tall ceilings, quality wooden furniture and traditional majolica floors. Superior doubles have a balcony overlooking the hotel gardens and the historic town, and the deluxe doubles and junior suites on the higher floors have at least partial sea views. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with flatscreen TVs, mini bar and free WiFi.
Dining
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the elegant Tiffany Restaurant, with creative dishes based around Sorrento’s finest local produce. Hotel owner Enzo Manniello is also your host at the nearby ’o Parrucchiano restaurant, which has been a Sorrento institution since 1868, and is famed for the cannelloni that was invented in its kitchens. La Favorita’s American Bar is situated in the spacious lounge, which spills out onto the wide Bellavista garden terrace, and the pool bar has fabulous views and ample seating.
Facilities
A full concierge service is an essential part of your stay, and reception staff will advise you on excursions to historic sites, scenic walks or booking a private boat to explore the majestic coastline and nearby islands.
